LOS ANGELES – Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber was involved in a minor car crash in his Ferrari in Los Angeles on Tuesday, but no one was injured, police said.
The Canadian star was at the wheel of his black vehicle when it collided with a Honda in an underground parking structure, said Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) spokeswoman Rosario Herrera.
“Justin Bieber was driving a Ferrari and the other car was a Honda… we have no injuries, no damages to either car,” she told AFP after the crash in the San Fernando Valley, just north of LA.
She gave no further details, but another LAPD spokeswoman said Bieber’s Ferrari was “tapped” from behind by a Honda Civic.
Bieber, who has a home in nearby Studio City, was not questioned by officers. “There were no citations,” said the LAPD spokeswoman.
The 17-year-old star’s publicists did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The pop sensation soared to stardom after videos of his performances were posted on YouTube, with his album “My World 2.0” hitting the top of the US charts.
