Chabacano short wins in Serbia

Filipino filmmaker Sheron Dayoc’s “Mientras Su Durmida” won best short at the 2nd International Short Film Festival in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia. Produced by Gil Quito, Dayoc’s short is one of five Chabacano films included in the 12th Película-Pelikula Spanish Film Festival and will be shown on Oct. 9 (7 p.m.) and Oct. 10 (4:30 p.m.) at Greenbelt 3, Cinema 1, in Makati.Bayani San Diego Jr.
