‘Problem Child’ revisited

Elwood Perez’s 1980 film “Problem Child” will have a special screening on Oct. 5, 5 p.m. at the Veterans Museum in Taguig, Western Bicutan, as part of a series of retrospective showings mounted by the Veteran Film Society (VFS).

The director, along with the film’s producer Lily Monteverde of Regal and stars led by Cherie Gil, Lloyd Samartino and Freddie Webb, are expected to grace the event.

The VFS previously screened National Artist for Film Lamberto Avellana’s “A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino” (1965), with lead actress Naty Crame-Rogers in attendance. Bayani San Diego Jr.
