TORONTO — Daniel Radcliffe continued to evolve from his Harry Potter character with bold new roles, and he’s brought three of them to the Toronto International Film Festival.
While they cover some adult themes like murder and homosexuality, Radcliffe says his current roles are not part of some strategy to abandon his past. Rather they’re about doing what actors do best: “Take chances.”
Radcliffe told The Associated Press on Saturday that he goes by his instincts and makes the kind of films that he would want to see.
The 24-year-old actor spoke candidly about his movie roles during an interview for his new film, “Horns,” where he plays a man suspected of brutally killing his girlfriend and one morning awakens with a pair of horns on his head.
