Thai film fest at Glorietta
Today is the last day of screenings for the three-day Thai Film Festival, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and Thailand Foundation. Among the films to be shown today are “Shambhala” (11 a.m.), “Hello Stranger” (1:30 p.m.), “Alone” (4 p.m.), “ATM” (6:30 p.m.) and “Coming Soon” (9 p.m.).
The films cover various genres—from thriller (“Alone”) and horror (“Coming Soon”) to romantic-comedy (“Hello Stranger” and “ATM”) and drama (“Shambhala”).
“Alone” is from the same directors of the hit flick “Shutter,” Banjong Pisanthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom.
Thai actor Sunny Suwanmethanon, who costarred with Ananda Everingham in “Shambhala,” graced the event and met with the press.
The free public screenings are set at the Cinema 5 of Glorietta 4.
