VILMA Santos thanks fans, her “fellow bit players” and the film’s guest stars.
After winning six awards at the Cinemalaya festival, Jeffrey Jeturian’s “Ekstra” will be shown in the Contemporary World Cinema program of the 38th Toronto International Film Festival, set from September 5 to 15.
The Vilma Santos starrer’s international premiere will be held on September 8. It is eligible for the fest’s BlackBerry People’s Choice Award.
Santos told the Philippine Daily Inquirer that she’s on cloud nine. “It feels great—not just for me but also for Direk Jeff and [producer] Atty. Joji (Alonso), too.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
