With categories including best lip lock and male hottie, the Teen Choice Awards aren’t exactly profound, but what they lack in depth they make up for in passion from their fans.
The Teen Choice Awards honor teen favorites in TV, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and online.
This year’s winners will be announced Sunday night. The teens’ picks will take home a full-size surfboard rather than a conventional trophy.
The musical comedy “Pitch Perfect,” starring Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson, leads the pack with 11 nominations, followed by “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” with nine.
“Glee” actor Darren Criss and “Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale will co-host the telecast at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.
Jenni “J Woww” Farley will host the pre-show teal carpet.
