Margie Juico was former President Corazon Aquino’s social secretary and continued to be her trusted aide even after her term ended. She will be there when the special exhibit, “A Gift of Self”—a collection of Tita Cory’s paintings that were given to friends and family—will be mounted by Manila Hotel and Adamson University on July 29, 6 p.m. at the lobby of Manila Hotel, to commemorate the Filipino icon of democracy. The exhibit will run until Aug. 2.

As chair of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Margie is always ready to lend a helping hand to people who need assistance.

FEATURED STORIES

From January to June this year, the agency’s online lottery saved more than P149 million, generated from rental expenses and other lotto paraphernalia. Juico cut expenses by streamlining operations. Assisting her in the management of PCSO is its general manager, lawyer Joy Rojas, who sees to it that all the funds go to beneficiaries.
