Lance Raymundo’s Bailey

/ 10:47 PM July 25, 2013

Bailey, a three-month-old female Beagle, is the latest addition to our family. She is a gift from a friend.

We have a helper whose expertise is to take care of the dogs, but everyone in the house, especially my dad, treats the pets like human family members.

Our five dogs hang out in my brother Rannie’s room, where we gather at night. Luckily, our dogs are all healthy, so they just need the usual quarterly checkups.

Bailey makes our already joy-filled existence even more enjoyable. She likes to play dead, making my mom and dad worry. We think Bailey secretly enjoys that.

Taking care of dogs keeps me in touch with my more wholesome side. My brother Rannie is the leader of the pack, but since we live in the same house, I’m always free to join in the fun.

I hope to adopt my own pet soon. But since I’m always on the go, I’m afraid I won’t be able to give it the nurturing it deserves.

My ex-girlfriend and I co-own a female Chihuahua together. We named her Prince. We’ve remained friends, so I am free to see Prince anytime. Bayani San Diego Jr.
