Ruffa Gutierrez says Annabelle Rama ‘appreciates’ her BF Herbert Bautista

Ruffa Gutierrez said her beau Herbert Bautista seemed to have obtained the approval of her mother, Annabelle Rama, days after she finally revealed their relationship to the public.
While the beauty queen-actress has decided to confirm what has long been speculations, Gutierrez said in an interview that she would rather keep her personal life private. She, however, insisted that her relationship with Bautista had “always been serious.”
Gutierrez said Rama is aware that she’s old enough to handle her relationships.
“Even my mom was like, ‘Bakit ka naga-announce? Magpapakasal ka na ba?’ That’s the story of my life. But I think with my mom now, she knows that I’m old enough. Siguro naman no? Hindi na siya nagme-meddle,” she said.

The actress said Rama will always be her usual outspoken self, though it would appear that the latter “appreciates” Bautista.“But she’s always gonna be my mom. She’s always gonna be outspoken, but I think also she appreciates and she likes the person I’m dating now,” she said.
Still, she doesn’t want to be too public with her personal life. “For me, at my age… I’d rather keep things quiet and not be so vocal about my personal life. I believe that a relationship lasts because it’s private,” said Gutierrez, who just turned 50 last June 24.
Gutierrez had celebrated her natal day by holding a “last-minute birthday salubong” with Bautista and other loved ones.
Pageantry roots
Meanwhile, Gutierrez will return to her pageantry roots as she announced that she had been tapped to be one of the hosts of the Binibining Pilipinas 2024, which will be celebrating it’s its 60 years of pageantry on July 7.
She made the announcement on Instagram, along with her intention to prepare for the show.
