Geneva Sarita Lopez, one of the 2024 Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga candidates, has been reportedly missing alongside her Israeli boyfriend Yitshak Cohen since June 21.

The pageant organization released a public notice on Lopez’s disappearance through its Facebook page on Monday, June 24.

“It is with serious concern that we announce the disappearance of Ms. Geneva Sarita Lopez, one of the official candidates for this year’s Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga 2024 representing Sto. Tomas, Pampanga, who has been reported missing since June 21,” it stated.

“We would like to clarify that we had no official schedule of activities during the said date as it was allotted for the candidates’ rest,” it added, assuring the public that the organization is in communication with the police regarding the matter.

“Let’s continue to hope and pray for her safety as well as her Israeli boyfriend, her companion on the day she went missing.”

Lopez and Cohen reportedly went to Capas, Tarlac, to meet with a certain individual with whom they had a transaction over a property, as per “TV Patrol.”

The couple’s disappearance was reported by Lopez’s family to the Angeles City police. Not long after, the Tarlac police received an information about an abandoned burning vehicle, wherein personal documents with Lopez’s name were later discovered.

The individual who met with the couple is reportedly in communication with the authorities, saying they had parted ways with Lopez and Cohen after visiting the property.

The family of Lopez has yet to comment on the recent updates on the incident as of this writing.
