Angeline Quinto clarifies husband’s number of kids from previous relationship

Filipina singer Angeline Quinto clarified that her non-showbiz husband, Nonrev Daquina, only has two children from his previous relationship after a netizen accused him of having four firstborns already.
On Instagram, Quinto responded to a comment that said “her husband has a history of fathering four firstborns,” and the singer “might end up like actress Pokwang, who broke up with her estranged partner Lee O’Brian.”
Quinto replied, “I’m sorry, dalawa lang ang naging unang anak niya sa una.”

In 2020, rumors surfaced that Quinto and her non-showbiz beau had broken up, and that there was a new girl who came forward saying she was the new girlfriend of Daquina. But the allegations died out eventually.
In a separate report by PEP PH, Daquina’s ex-wife claimed that the guy had already fathered three firstborns from different women. At the time, Quinto did not respond to the rumors.
In 2022, Quinto made the statement on her YouTube channel that she looked forward to meeting her partner’s other kids if the circumstances permitted.
“Ako anytime talaga, gustong-gusto ko,” she said. “Sinasabi ko ‘yan sa kanya pag nag-uusap kami, ‘Sana babe dumating ‘yung time na kaya na medyong ipaliwanag doon sa mga bata’ — kasi syempre ‘di ba may mga moment na hindi pa nila naiintindihan kasi bata pa sila — ‘pag okay na lahat at ‘pag pwede na, I’m sure makikilala ko din naman ‘yung mga anak ni Nonrev.”
On April 25, the “Pusong Lito” singer officially tied the knot with Daquina in Quiapo Church. The pair share one son together, Sylvio, and they are expecting their second child together, a baby girl.
“Alam ko hindi naging madali sa umpisa. May ibang ayaw sa relasyon natin. Pero mas pinili mong manatili sa tabi ko, nung panahong kailangan na kailangan kita. Nung panahong ayaw ko ng kumanta at magtrabaho dahil sa pag kawala ng Mama. Ikaw ang naging kakampi at inspirasyon ko,” Quinto wrote in her Instagram post after their wedding.
