Jessa Zaragoza hits back at basher who dissed her for doing dishes with makeup on

Singer-actress Jessa Zaragoza found herself defending herself after a basher criticized her for having full makeup on while washing the dishes.
On a joint Instagram post of Jayda Avanzado and Zaragoza, the latter was doing the “Finish the Lyrics” challenge of her daughter’s new song, “Right Lover, Wrong Time,” while washing the dishes, looking all glammed.

While many of their followers praised Zaragoza for effortlessly hitting all the notes, one intrusive netizen chose to comment on her appearance. “Dapat ba full make-up washing the dishes? (Should one have full make-up while washing the dishes?)” the netizen commented.
The “Baliw na Puso” singer responded by explaining that they had no helper in the house, and that she dove into cleaning the dishes right after arriving home from work.
“Galing kasi akong show niyan. Pagkababa ng kotse, diretso sa kusina para maghugas ng pinggan. Wala kaming katulong sa bahay, kaya ako lang naghuhugas ng pinggan sa bahay namin,” she remarked.
(I came from a show that time. After getting out of the car, I went straight to the kitchen to wash the dishes. We don’t have a maid at home, so I wash the dishes alone in our house.)
Zaragoza asserted that she chose to do the dishes before removing her make-up, given that it’s already nighttime.
“Di na ako nakapagpalit ng damit at tanggal make-up galing trabaho. Gawa agad ng naiwang gawaing bahay para matapos na at gabi na ‘yan. Ok, na ba sayo itong explanation ko?! Pasensya ka na ha,” she explained.
(I did not have any time to change my clothes and remove my make-up from work. The remaining chores need to be done immediately as it is already night at the time. Is my explanation enough for you now? I’m sorry.)
The 45-year-old singer-actress also said that the video was not scripted, as she was also caught off guard with her daughter coming up to her to challenge her about the song.
The netizen has already deleted the intriguing comment, along with Zaragoza’s retort.
