According to the foundation’s website, Gana started the foundation in 2011 after seeing the predicament of cancer patients when she was invited at the C.H.I.L.D House, another non-profit organization that also takes care of children.

Gana is the mother of Bautista’s children, 10-year-old Harvey, who is part of Goin’ Bulilit, and 17-year-old Athena, who is also an actress and part of Joel Lamangan’s Sitio Camcam.
