Midas Promotions regretfully announces on Tuesday that The Lumineers concert scheduled on July 28 at the World Trade Center, Metro Manila, has been cancelled, despite the best efforts of Midas and The Lumineers for the concert to happen.
Best known for their hits Ho Hey, Stubborn Love, and Submarines, the band’s roots began in the spring of 2005, when childhood friends Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites began to make music and play gigs together around New York. After battling the city’s cutthroat music scene and impossibly high cost of living, the two decided to expand their horizons.
Perhaps some people are just plainly curious about what the buzz is. Or maybe a good promo team is backing this phenomenal folk-rock group act called The Lumineers.
