Hinting of a possible posthumous award for Dolphy, Malacañang announced on Wednesday that the late actor was “deemed nominated” for this year’s Order of National Artists.
The National Commission on Culture and the Arts (NCCA) is now processing the nomination of the seriously ill comedian Dolphy as national artist.
The Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) has been unable to carry out most of its projects, director-general Leo Martinez reported, because of its inability to collect funds from the government.
