Lil Wayne says he’s an epileptic and has had seizures for years. In an interview with Los Angeles-based radio station Power 106 on Thursday, the 30-year-old rapper said epilepsy caused his most recent health scare earlier this month, when he was rushed to a hospital. Wayne said he had three back-to-back seizures.

Lil Wayne says he’s OK. The multiplatinum rapper was hospitalized in Los Angeles on Friday and reps confirmed he was “recovering.” The rapper tweeted to his fans: “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.”

Epic Records says it is making “great efforts” to take down a new Future remix with a vulgar Lil Wayne lyric that has offended the family of a black U.S. teenager whose murder in the 1950s for whistling at a white woman helped to change the national conversation on race.
