Mae Paner (Juana Change) on losing weight and eating right: “I’m a good cook. I love to entertain at home. When I started trying to lose weight, I gave up pork and beef and started eating only chicken and fish. I also cut down on rice. I used to hate vegetables. Growing up, I thought vegetables were pagkain ng katulong (food for helpers) because they were always available in our kitchen and the help really liked them. ’Yun pala, gulay ang tunay na pagkaing pang-mayaman.
