Bands, skateboarders kick off Makati Circuitfest 2013

MANILA, Philippines – The Makati Circuitfest 2013 kicked off Saturday afternoon with live performances from international bands and Riley Hawk, son of legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk.

A+ Dropouts opened the show with a live performance followed by a skateboarding exhibition from Hawk, Willy Santos and other Filipino skateboarders.

Fourteen-year-old Fil-Am Cheska Zaide, lead vocalist of A+ Dropouts, easily rocked the crowd with their pop-punk music.

“We are so happy to be here!” She called to the crowd before making them sing along to their music.

The other bands slated to perform in the music and skateboarding festival are Yellowcard, Mayday Parade, This Century, We Are The In Crowd, Downtown Fiction, All Star Weekend, Before You Exit, and YouTube sensation Megan Nicole.
