MANILA, Philippines— The Movie, Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) expressed its delight over the Court of Appeals’ decision affirming their one-month suspension in 2011 imposed on the show of controversial  TV host Willie Revillame.

Reacting to a news report that came out early Thursday afternoon in INQUIRER.net, MTRCB chair Eugenio Villareal said in a text message to the INQUIRER that it is pleased with the decision.

In his SMS to the INQUIRER, Villareal said: “Batay sa balita na nasa INQUIRER.net, nalulugod ang MTRCB sa balitang ito na pagkatig ng CA sa posisyon namin. Patuloy po ang kampanya namin tungo sa isang TV industry na child-sensitive at child-friendly (The MTRCB is pleased with the news that the Court of Appeals upheld the Board’s decision to suspend the show. We continue to campaign for a TV industry that is child-sensitive and child-friendly.)
