MANILA, Philippines — GMA 7’s Sunday noontime variety show “Party Pilipinas” will go off the air soon.

This was confirmed by Lilybeth G. Rasonable, officer-in-charge for GMA Network’s Entertainment TV.

“In a few weeks, there will be exciting changes in the Sunday noontime offering of GMA. The new musical variety show will have more fun and thrilling elements that viewers must definitely watch out for, still with the biggest and brightest Kapuso stars. More information on the show will be announced soon,” said Rasonable.

Frankly speaking, even you have a new exciting show with the same crop of artists biriting here and biriting there, the show will not prosper. Mas magandang if set of forgotten filipino artists coming out every week na may maganda pang ibubuga. Nakakasawa kasi same artists tapos iba ibang genre ng kanta. Mas maganda ibat ibang artists( forgotten and unknown) na may iba ibang genre.

ASAP RULES! 18 years and getting stronger!

I’d rather they air canned American shows or better yet, NatGeo or Discovery channels in English. Time to reverse the idiotization of Filipinos.

Anyare? HOT TV, Celebrity Bluff, Para Sa Yo Ang Laban Na Ito. Susunod na ang Teen Gen at Sarap Diva. 3 shows ni Regine nandyan. No wonder nagbakasyonn siya at mega-emote siya sa twitter about loyalty. And no wonder lalayas na si Ogie come July.

anyway i’m not a fan of pp and asap pero paulit-ulit lang kasi ang concept nyo nakakasawang panoorin kaya minsan people must prefer to watch foriegn shows than our local shows kasi nakakasawa naman tlaga….gaya-gaya pa kyo…

Good riddance! take it off the air completely, and put a show where we can learn something, seesh. Philippine media is making Pinoys more like idiots.

    • BCon

Actually, it is GMA’s afternoon teleseryes that ‘s making idiots of pinoys. May katulong bang laging naka alampay, day in and day out. Cant they think of a better and more believable device. Ha ha ha
