Li’l Filipino Bond docu on target
Australian filmmaker Andrew Leavold’s documentary, “The Search for Weng Weng,” has raised US$30,423 for the film’s post-production on the website kickstarter.com.
The docu chronicles the life and times of 1980s actor Weng Weng, a pint-sized Pinoy James Bond. “It was an incredible group effort,” Leavold told the Inquirer. He hopes to tour the docu in the Philippines soon. Bayani San Diego Jr.
