Bugoy Cariño

Child star Bugoy Cariño, 9 years young, told the Inquirer how he felt about winning best supporting actor at the Asean International Film Festival and Awards (Aiffa) held in Kuching, Malaysia, last month: “I was very happy to win for my first indie film ‘Alagwa.’ It was also my first best supporting actor trophy and I was up against performers who were much older than me! This award inspires me to work harder so that I can please all the people who support me.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
