Just in time for Holy Week: Controversial Celebrity is in the mood for some pious posing these days. Acting holier-than-thou, CC continues to flaunt good deeds in public.
Turned out, CC is just as nasty as Unassuming Sibling. A mole was shocked to witness CC and US showing their true colors when Popular Relative was in the hospital. US allegedly ordered doctors and nurses around as if they were indentured servants.
CC was said to be equally high-handed and arrogant. How feudal. CC and US need to reflect and turn a new leaf.
Rejected
Speaking of the rich and haughty: Sexy Siren almost tied the knot with Wealthy Scion.
WS’ family, however, thumbed-down SS, thinking her unfit for their beloved heir.
SS was distraught. Was her dream of early retirement about to go pfft? Undeterred and quick-thinking, SS ended up with WS’ Best Buddy.
Under pressure

Glamorous Star threw a diva fit on the set. GS allegedly slapped Seasoned Actor a little too hard in the middle of a scene.
GS is notorious for such mischief and SA’s supporters are certain it was no accident.
Was it premeditated? SA got so upset, he supposedly landed in hospital right after.
Backsliding
Picked up from the Inquirer tabloid Bandera: Police nabbed Senior Actor in a drug raid. But he got off the hook and no case was filed. What gives?
SA was a junkie when he was younger but many thought his addiction was a thing of the past. After all, he insists he has found the spiritual path.

Heard on the Radyo Inquirer program “Kliq Showbiz” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.):
Beautiful Actress was the toast of Tinseltown. A series of unfortunate incidents, however, hit BA and she could not bounce back.
Worse, BA’s headstrong attitude turned off Industry Bigwigs, who made sure she would never work (or eat lunch) in Show Town again. It worked.
BA is now in dire financial straits and is often spotted at her old workplace—a sleazy nightclub.
Too old to return to the flesh trade, BA had no choice but to borrow money from former colleagues.
Paws moment
The chance encounter gave the other guests pause. They didn’t expect to see this trio under one… tent on Saturday.
Heart Evangelista brought boyfriend Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero to a dinner hosted by the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS, which she supports) at the Venetian Tent in McKinley Hill, Taguig.
Also present was Heart’s ex, Daniel Matsunaga, whom she graciously introduced to Chiz. The two men were seen talking animatedly—and lengthily.
A nonscandal
JULIA Montes will wait for family’s go-signal before falling in love.
The big rumor on Monday was that Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo filed for annulment last week. The couple’s individual camps vehemently denied this.
Alfie Lorenzo, Santos’ manager, told Rushes: “They just arrived from a vacation in Vietnam.” Noel Ferrer, Agoncillo’s manager, said that Santos had just taped an episode of “Talentadong Pinoy Worldwide” for her husband’s birthday celebration, for airing next week.
The managers said there was something fishy about the gossip. Lorenzo noted: “Juday never had any scandal in her entire career. Some people are envious.”
Millions for JoWa?
Though Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola’s repeat concert, “Jose and Wally Show: A Party for Juan and All,” at the Big Dome on March 15 was a “certified success,” they’re not yet members of the Millionaire’s Club.
Manager Malou Fagar denied the rumor that the duo’s asking price has reached the million-peso mark. A third installment of the concert is reportedly in the works.
