Kris Aquino, sons fly to Disneyland

MANILA, Philippines—Actress and television personality Kris Aquino and her two sons, Joshua and Bimby, left the country on Friday afternoon following her estranged husband James Yap’s failure to get the Makati City court to stop the trip.
The court permitted Aquino to leave but required her to present her travel itinerary and, later, proof of her return, lawyers revealed.
Aquino and her sons boarded Emirates Airlines flight EK-333 bound for Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The plane left Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at around 6:30 p.m.
Aquino’s security aides and airport guards barred the media from interviewing her or taking pictures of her and her sons at the departure area. But Aquino reportedly gave an exclusive interview to a television station at the airport dignitaries’ lounge while waiting for the flight, whose departure was delayed by about an hour.
The flight is expected to arrive in Dubai at around midnight on Saturday, local time. Mother and sons are expected to proceed to Paris, France.
Aquino earlier said she and her sons would be going to Disneyland in Paris and to the Our Lady of Lourdes shrine in Lourdes for the Holy Week.
Last Friday, the Makati court forbade Aquino, Yap and their lawyers from further speaking in public about the case which stemmed from Aquino’s request for a temporary protection order (TPO) against Yap. She claimed Yap had made unwanted sexual advances on her when he visited his son at her condo last December.
The court has yet to decide whether or not to grant a permanent keep-distance order against Yap, who denied Aquino’s charges.
Yap countered by seeking a hold-departure order (HDO) on Aquino, who planned to travel to Europe with their son, Bimby. It was unclear what transpired at the last court hearing because of the gag order.
