Touchy-feely fan scores a ‘Derek’ hit
DEREK Ramsay says he felt “molested” only once.
From Inquirer tabloid Bandera: TV5 hunk Derek Ramsay admitted that he often falls victim to zealous fans, both girls and gays, who occasionally get too close for comfort.
During a “Kidlat” road show in Davao City, Ramsay recalled, one gay fan attempted (and succeeded!) in sniffing at his armpits.
Another admirer, a schoolmarmish woman, lost her composure and hugged and kissed Ramsay—
all the while screeching like a banshee.
The actor didn’t exactly feel that those situations came close to harassment. “It’s part of the game,” he said. “I don’t mind if it’s in the spirit of fun.”
He felt molested only once, on the road.
It happened during one rowdy parlor game (held during a show in General Santos City) which involved slipping a coin into his pants. A female contestant actually took a hands-on approach and reached way too deep into his jeans. “She put her hands in there. That was weird,” Ramsay recalled.
She very likely did not regret it.
