I LOVE Rick Riordan’s “The Sea of Monsters.” It’s a fantasy-adventure novel based on Greek mythology. It’s actually the second book in the “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” series. The first book (“The Lightning Thief”) was turned into a movie. I find the story line interesting and exciting. As a bonus, I got to learn a lot about different Greek gods and goddesses and ancient myths. I enjoyed the way the author wrote the story in relation to our modern world.

I’M NOW reading the self-help book “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff” by Richard Carlson. I bought it myself. It’s very helpful. It imparts simple lessons that anyone can apply in everyday life. It has taught me not to worry about the insignificant problems that come our way. It’s very practical. The book has specific chapters that share simple tips on how to handle stress in different situations that happen in real life. Interviews by Bayani San Diego Jr.
