MANILA, Philippines–“Sisterakas” tops the first day of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in terms of revenue, the Metro Manila Development Authority said Tuesday.
“Sisterakas” is topbilled by President Aquino’s youngest sister Kris, comedians Ai-Ai delas Alas and Vice Ganda, all associated with ABS-CBN or the Kapamilya network.
In a statement released to the media, the MMDA’s official tally has “Sisterakas” on top spot with 39.1 million pesos.
“Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako” follows with P29.4 million; “One More Try” with P13.1 million; “Shake,Rattle and Roll” with P10.6 million.
The MMDA added the gross revenue totaled P105 million all over the Philippines on Christmas day.
