Party girls embarrass mentors

/ 10:08 PM December 18, 2012

VIC SOTTO says love is the most important Christmas gift he could give Pauleen.

Pretty Starlet, product of a reality search, caused a bit of a commotion in a watering hole recently.

The reason? A bartender had refused to serve her a heady cocktail. That’s because PS is a minor; the server was only playing it safe.

PS had earlier raised a ruckus at another party and was already drunk when she got to the bar.

FEATURED STORIES

Still, she wanted one for the road! ’Tis the season to get soused?

Apart from liquor, rumor has it that PS has a hankering for older men with fat wallets.

Seductress strikes out

Stunning Sweetheart, who graduated from the same reality show as PS, is a marked woman.

As soon as the contest ended, SS went wild, bar-hopping every night and partying like there was no tomorrow.

Worse, she targeted the show’s Big Winner as a romantic prospect. Though they were not being built up as a tandem, SS thought nothing of seducing BW, ignoring studio bosses and the guy’s Poor Partner.

SS swiftly got her comeuppance because BW didn’t fall for her wayward charms.

Opposite of sweet

HEART Evangelista will spend Christmas with her family.

The third Gorgeous Girl to emerge from the same reality program has gained an unsavory reputation as well.

GG looks sweet and innocent onscreen. Turns out, she’s the exact opposite in real life.

She is said to be the new love of much older and once-married Showbiz Insider.

Many suspect that the scandalous affair is just a desperate career move for GG.

After all, SI is in a position of power.

The three erring girls have left their shocked mentors livid and embarrassed.

They’ve also made observers wonder out loud: Perhaps this reality show should review its training program and put more emphasis on morals and ethics?

Impending end 1

Talk is spreading like wildfire: Top Insider was eased out of Major Firm.

As a result of a power struggle with Aggressive Frenemy, TI was moved to another office, far from the snake pit.

Then again, MF is on the verge of a total reshuffle.

According to a highly placed source, Big Boss has decided to replace Trusted Aide with Loyal Lieutenant.

Heads are rrrrolling.

Impending end 2

Controversial Personality and Cantankerous Celebrity are reportedly about to leave a high-profile project.

Perhaps the bosses were unimpressed with the performances of CC and CP, who were both pulled out of the freezer for reinvention.

The experiment, however, flopped big time, according to a spy.

CP and CC should’ve seen the handwriting on the wall, especially after their project’s budget was cut drastically.

Was all this because CP had incurred the ire of a very Powerful Boss?

Top of the Talk Show

For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Manny Pacquiao, asked what he still wants to achieve in life: “’Yung patuloy na pagbibigay ng karangalan sa ating bansa.” [The boxing career has to end sometime, though… and as for your tenure in Congress…]

Jennylyn Mercado, asked if she and boyfriend Luis Manzano are talking  about marriage: “Napag-uusapan siyempre, pero wala pang plano. ’Di pa ’ko handa, bata pa ’ko. Ini-enjoy muna namin ang isa’t isa.” (Pero may bata ka na rin, girl!)

Jennylyn on rumors that she’s the reason that Paolo Contis and his wife, Lian Paz, broke up: “Kahit bali-baligtarin mo, lalabas at lalabas ang totoo o kung sangkot ba talaga ako. ’Di ko talaga gagawin ’yun.” (This is so tiresome.)

MANNY Pacquiao

Liezl Martinez on how cancer changed her outlook: “I’m so daring now. I’ve done bungee jumping! And now, I take things one day at a time. Dati kasi, pinoproblema ko buong mundo!” (Amen. Life is way too short.)

Aiza Seguerra, asked about her personal life: “Maraming nagpapasaya sa ’kin—unang-una diyan family ko. I find happiness in small things… are you expecting a name?” (Philippine show biz, Aiza! A name or blood, whichever’s tougher.)

Vic Sotto, asked if he and Pauleen Luna were spending Christmas together: “Ay, dapat lang. Bakit naman hindi? Pero siyempre depende sa schedule ng mga pamilya namin.” (Christmas Eve here, Christmas Day there… you’ll work it out.)

Vic, asked if he already has a Christmas gift for Pauleen: “Pagmamahal, at pinaka-importanteng gift…” (May we suggest jewelry?)

Judy Ann Santos, asked if she plans on having a new baby: “Napapag-usapan kasi kapag nakikita mo ’yung bata, parang ang sarap kapag marami sila. Pero ’yung practicality, when it sets in… Ipon-ipon muna.” (And in this economy?)

Juday on how motherhood changed her: “Mas naging confident ako na babae ako kasi dati,  duda ako, eh. Ngayon, nagamit ko ’yung matris ko at ’yung pagkababae ko, gamit na gamit! Lahat-lahat sa ’kin gamit na gamit!” (We didn’t need to know that.)

Bianca King, asked about her love life: “My heart is so fat—so fat with love!” (In Tagalog kasi, matabang puso?)

Heart Evangelista, asked if she was going to spend Christmas with Sen. That’s the golden rule. So, kung gusto niya, jumoin siya!” (Parang iba ’yung alam naming golden rule.)

Jaclyn Jose on her daughter Andi Eigenmann’s ex-boyfriend, Jake Ejercito: “I don’t want to talk about Jake. I don’t want to talk about Andi’s love life.” (That bad, huh?)

Mark Gil on his granddaughter Ellie: “She’s my angel. Well, she looks like an angel… wala lang wings!” (Tee-hee!)

Jolo Revilla, asked if he’d leave show biz if he wins as vice governor of Cavite in the coming election: “Nag-lie low ako sa show business dahil naramdaman ko na ang calling ko nasa public service. Sa palagay ko, kailangan kong mamili ng isa lang dahil ang magsa-suffer naman ang health ko.” (Paging dad Bong…)

Kathryn Bernardo, asked if she has other suitors besides Daniel Padilla: “Wala akong nababalitaan.” (Clever girl.)

Daniel, asked if he minds Kathryn entertaining other suitors: “Okay lang, basta huwag sa harap ko.” (Of course not! Medyo garapal yata ’yun.)

Julia Montes on rumors that Coco Martin plans to court her as soon as she turns 18: “Hindi ako makapaniwala… Iniisip ko, ganun ba ako para magustuhan? Ang haba naman ng hair ko kung totoo man ’yan.” (Shall we start the countdown? But beware of other angry females.)

Paulo Avelino on rumors that he’s being choosy about roles: “There are no small or big roles. Pero ngayon kasi magulo and schedule ko kaya I had to turn down some offers.” (Now that’s a problem we’d all like to have.)

Sarah Geronimo on her recent vacation in Brazil: “First time kong mag-travel na walang chaperon, wala ’yung parents ko. Ang kasama ko mga friends lang… masaya, masaya.” (NO WAY!)

Angel Locsin on being choosy about roles: “Dapat naman talaga. Opo, mapili ako, kasi siyempre inaalagaan ko ’yung sarili ko. ’Di lahat ng role bagay sa ’yo o kaya mong gawin.” (Good answer.)

Angelica Panganiban, asked how she and boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz deal with intrigues: “Di kami mga negative na tao. Masyado kaming nakakatawa. Ini-enjoy lang namin… ’di kami naapektuhan ng mga tao.” (Di pa ba ’yun??)
