Film about aging gay man wins in Macau

MANILA, Philippines—Eddie Garcia won best actor for “Bwakaw” at the Asia Pacific Film Festival held in Macau Saturday, line producer Tonee Acejo told the INQUIRER.
Acejo learned of the news from Garcia’s wife Lily who accompanied the actor in Macau. The victory was also confirmed by the film’s director, Jun Lana. “We are so happy for him,” Lana said.
