Exciting rodeo extravaganza

Rodel Masbateño is among Asia’s few rodeo shows. Aside from calf-wrestling, bull-riding and lassoing, the exciting extravaganza is highlighted by a cowboy criss-crossing through barrels! Masbate’s local government is asking investors to check out the province, which offers exciting opportunities for entrepreneurs. One of the ranches we visited is owned by Judge Manuel “Bebot” Sese.
That’s why I decided to organize the Masbate Rodeo Photo Safari, to take part in the city’s annual celebration from April 7-10 next year. Thereafter, a photo exhibit will be mounted in Manila.
Among the must-see places to visit is the eco-tourism-friendly Buntod Sandbar, which is a small replica of Boracay, with powdery sand and a marine sanctuary teeming with underwater life—the perfect backdrop for photography!
