‘Posas’ wins in Hanoi

“Posas”
Filipino filmmaker Lawrence Fajardo’s “Posas” won best film at the Hanoi International Film Festival in Vietnam last week, according to producer Joji Alonso.
The honor came with a US$5,000 cash prize. “Posas” bested 16 other entries from all over the world, Alonso told the Inquirer. It won best film in the directors’ showcase section of this year’s Cinemalaya.—Bayani San Diego Jr.
