Handsome hunk wants to be ‘secretary’ of foreign affairs

VICE Ganda

Does Handsome Hunk secretly wish to be the “secretary” of foreign affairs someday?

He asked his handlers to set up a “meeting” with Visiting Actor from abroad.

Why? Seems previous attempts to cook up a project with another Foreign Cutie fell through.

FC is as big a superstar as VA in the same region. Apparently, HH has an appetite for things spicy and exotic.

Party pooper

Powerful Personality was invited to a high-profile industry event. But PP was in no mood to hobnob with colleagues.

Turned out, PP was smarting from a heartbreaking dilemma. A mole says PP had just called it quits with Longtime Partner.

PP could no longer ignore LP’s indiscretions, especially since the latest paramour was a co-worker.

Was PP depressed because LP fell for a mere factotum?

Over budget

Whispers in the corridors of power are getting louder. Can Big Boss continue to overlook Controversial Personality’s wanton spending?

Colleagues are upset that CP was charging millions for a project that hardly made a dent in the industry.

Moreover, other projects were stalled because of budget constraints. No wonder colleagues hate CP; they lost promised jobs.

Worse, CP is bringing in Troubled Insider from Rival Company, plus Eager Wannabe, who is willing to spend moolah to attain fame.

Dangerous liaison

Closeted Personality is eyeing Persistent Hunk. PH would do anything to become popular and CP would not think twice about exploiting this.

PH should proceed with caution though, because the last Promising Cutie who got involved with CP disappeared without a trace.

PC’s career went south the minute CP entered the picture. Is CP’s promise of stardom a virtual kiss of death?

BB, what a big surprise

A reader wonders if newlyweds Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi obtained a marriage license prior to the surprise ceremony on Thursday.

The bride’s manager, Dolor Guevarra, says the couple complied with legal requirements before tying the knot in front of an associate justice of the Court of Appeals.

So, how was that a big surprise then?

KATHERINE Luna

A bigger shocker was BB Gandanghari’s explanation of why she was not invited: “It was a family affair.”

Did BB mean it was because she was a Kapatid and not a Kapamilya?

(BB was formerly known as Rustom Padilla, whose marriage to Carmina was annulled a decade ago.)

Paolo Ballesteros on persistent rumors that he’s gay: “Bahala na silang mag-isip… wala namang mangyayari kung magiging sensitive ako.” (Doesn’t matter either way.)

Indie actress Katherine Luna, asked if she’s seeking financial support from ex-boyfriend Coco Martin for their child: “Gusto ko kusang loob [niya gawin].” (Some men need reminding.)

Zendee Rose Tenerefe on Raquel Pempengco’s (Charice’s mom) alleged harsh reactions about the comparisons being made between her daughter and the new singer: “Nagbibigay lang po siya ng opinyon… baka napuno lang siya… [pero] masakit. Hindi raw po ako sisikat kasi matanda na ako, ’di ko na maabot ang pangarap ko.” (That was harsh, girl, but stay positive.)

Tama ka diyan at yan ay ayon sa Family Code of 1987, Article 34, ” No license shall be necessary for the marriage of a man and
a woman who have lived together as husband and wife for at least five
years and without any legal impediment to marry each other. The
contracting parties shall state the foregoing facts in an affidavit
before any person authorized to administer oaths. The solemnizing
officer shall also state under oath that he ascertained the
qualifications of the contracting parties and found no legal impediment
      to the marriage”.
