Cute Hunk is teetering on the edge. His career seems stuck in limbo after he was replaced by Matinee Idol as the studio bosses’ new favorite.
All that’s needed to ruin CH’s day is for anyone to mention MI’s name. The budding prima donna is sure to throw a hissy fit. That’s because CH is upset that MI has become more popular among fans as well, according to an insider.
CH became more livid when he learned that Rival Company had offered MI a multimillion-peso deal.
As if CH didn’t have enough problems, Upstart Actor has likewise upstaged him. Why, CH earlier dismissed UA as a second-rate, trying-hard copy cat.
Too smart
Character Actor is worried that he isn’t dumb enough for the biz.
On the set of a huge project, CA expressed dismay about a production boo-boo. The scene to be shot was a presidential dinner. CA told Popular Director that food wasn’t served buffet-style in such decorous soirees.
PD took offense. Does this mean CA should never look forward to working with PD again?

When Dashing Guy broke up with Pretty Lass, his family was the first to heave a sigh of relief. Seems DG’s well-off parents did not approve of PL.
It’s not because DG’s mom and dad are haughty. They were very accepting of PL’s lack of pedigree, but they’d had enough of the girl’s uncouth behavior and potty mouth.
They can’t imagine inviting PL to a sit-down dinner, for one thing, for fear of what she’d do with the silverware.

Wahlberg, Transformer
LOS ANGELES—Mark Wahlberg, roll out. “Transformers” director Michael Bay says the 41-year-old actor will star in the franchise’s fourth film.
Bay called Wahlberg the “perfect guy to reinvigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers’ legacy” in a post on his blog Thursday. He previously squashed rumors that Wahlberg was joining the film franchise about warring robots.

Star for Bardem
LOS ANGELES—Spanish actor Javier Bardem, who plays the villain in the latest 007 movie, got his own star on the storied Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, two days before the US release of “Skyfall.” The Oscar-winning star was joined by director Sam Mendes, who lavished praise on him.
“I had a lot of fun playing Silva because he’s a fun character,” he said, referring to the blond-haired baddie in the new Bond film that came out in Europe last month.
Bardem, married to actress Penelope Cruz, was the first Spaniard to be nominated for an Academy Award and the first to win one, for best supporting actor in the 2007 film “No Country for Old Men.”
“I’m really embarrassed… especially now that I have to speak English with all these people looking at me and taking pictures, hoping for me to say something brilliant, which I’m not gonna [do],” he said. AFP
