Monique to the rescue

MONIQUE Wilson

On Facebook, actress Monique Wilson related how she witnessed a “horrible hit and run” on Macapagal Avenue as she was motoring home from the airport on October 11. A car that was going “super fast…hit two girls and didn’t stop. Unbelievable.” She and her companions then did what others might think twice about doing: “[We] carried the two victims into our vehicle and…brought them to the Ospital ng Maynila.” The girls’ story broke her heart. “They were going home from their shift at Jollibee and they were worried about missing class the next day because they were scholars.” Monique, however, has no sympathy for the erring driver: “How can you be so cruel? I hope you got caught on some CCTV camera.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
