Nora Aunor nominated best actress at Asia-Pacific Screen Awards

MANILA, Philippines—Actress Nora Aunor is competing for best actress at the Asia-Pacific Screen Awards for her role as a barren wife in “Thy Womb”.

Brillante Mendoza, meanwhile, is nominated for best director (“Thy Womb”) while Chris Martinez is nominated for best screenplay (“Ang Babae sa Septic Tank”).

Awards night will be held in Brisbane, Australia, on November 23.
