Best buddies no more

/ 12:13 AM October 10, 2012

Controversial Celebrity and Scandalous Personality are no longer best friends, according to insiders.

CC and SP were to team up for a major venture but SP bowed out of it. CC  publicly disowned SP.

Then just as quickly, SP and CC were reunited. What was that about—to promote their current projects?

Anger management

FEATURED STORIES

Sexy Starlet needs to take a course in anger management. Big bosses had admonished her to stay cool whenever she felt like quarreling with fellow celebs and relatives.

Seems SS hasn’t learned her lesson since she last got in trouble because of her temper. She’s at it again, unleashing invectives against her enemies.

Worse, SS is careless and has left palpable proof of her misbehavior—evidence that could be used in the court of law. Afrrraid.

Basher at the bash

Stunning Starlet suspects her Lover Boy’s Former Sweetheart is responsible for the nasty comments that she’s deluged with online.

As luck would have it, SS, LB and   FS found themselves in one room during a high-profile event. The tension was palpable.

But SS knows how to fight back when irked. She showed off LB’s gifts, including expensive jewelry, to aggravate FS.

We know for a fact that FS is no shrinking violet, either. It’s a match made in “mean girl” hell.

Cheap talk

Talented Hunk has no qualms about his sideline as a boy-for-hire. Seems he thinks everyone would willingly part with cash for the pleasure of his company.

Well-meaning Friend tried to set an interview with TH and a leading media outfit. TH asked about a talent fee for that appointment. WF was shocked.

Turned out, TH got paid handsomely for a tell-all with a TV show. Talk’s not cheap with this one.

From a distance

Influential Benefactor is eyeing Handsome Athlete. IB supposedly made it possible for HA to receive a six-digit monthly stipend. It’s unclear whether HA has given in to IB’s dogged pursuit.

Then again IB doesn’t always touch the boys. Sometimes IB’s just content to look (and admire) from a safe distance.

Top of the Talk Shows

For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests  (And why we are moved, if we are moved):

Heart Evangelista on Sen. Chiz Escudero admitting their relationship: “Actually, masaya ako. Natutuwa rin ako dahil hindi pala ako ang klaseng tao na mahirap mahalin.” (That’s a yes.)

Jinkee Pacquiao on running for vice governor of Saranggani: “Nag-decide ako na ipagpatuloy ’yung mga ginawa ng asawa ko.” (What are those, exactly?)

Kris Bernal on portraying a man in “Coffee Prince”: “Ang hirap po pala maging lalaki, nag-workshop po ako para ayusin ’yung lakad, galaw at boses … At nag-aral ako mag-drive ng tricycle!” (It had better show, girl.)

Kris, asked what she learned about playing a male character: “Sensitive din po pala sila. Kahit tapang-tapangan at malaking tao, mahina rin pala minsan sa loob.” (Ain’t that the truth!)

Lovi Poe, asked if she’s willing to work with Susan Roces: “I’d love to. Who wouldn’t? She’s the queen of Philippine movies.” (Does Susan want to work with Lovi?)

Katrina Halili on her baby Katrence: “’Yung face niya nag-iba agad, para na siyang dalaga!” (Oh that’s just for starters.)

JODI Sta. Maria

Nancy Castiglione on being tagged as the reason for Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho Jr.’s breakup: “I was thrown off guard … Hello, I’ve evolved.” (And your accusers are … devolved?)

Maja Salvador on ex-boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli allegedly dating Jessy Mendiola: “’Di ko pa nakita. Para sa ’kin tapos na ’yung chapter na ’yun sa buhay ko so wala akong reaksyon.” (Enough of this.)

Anne Curtis, asked about her ideal marrying age: “Thirtysomething! I’m enjoying my career and being able to travel with my family and friends.” (Good answer.)

Jolo Revilla on being spotted in Hong Kong with rumored girlfriend Jodi Sta. Maria: “Wala akong itinatanggi … What you see is what you get. Walang masama du’n. ’Di masamang magmahal.” (No denials? How refreshing!)

PAULO Avelino

Paulo Avelino, asked who’s the better actor between him and Coco Martin: “Marami pa akong kakaining bigas para maabot si Coco Martin!” (Humble. We like that.)

Paulo, asked what he’s like as a lover: “Giving ako … passionate.” (She’s one lucky girl—whoever.)

Kim Chiu, asked about her relationship with Xian Lim: “Bahala na kung kailan maging kami o ano man.” (How tiresome.)

Xian, asked the same question: “Walang label … hindi kasi maganda ’yung mga ganun.” (Eto pa isa.)

Dawn Zulueta, asked how her husband reacted to her love scene with Richard Gomez on “Walang Hanggan”: “Pag-uwi ko, naghihintay lang siya sa sala. Akala ko hahagisan niya akong ng tsinelas! Haha!” (Guilty, Your Honor?)
