Eric Stonestreet wins first Emmy of the night

LOS ANGELES — Eric Stonestreet of “Modern Family” has won the first Emmy Award of the night, beating three of his own castmates.
Stonestreet beat Ed O’Neill, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ty Burrell from “Modern Family” Sunday night as well as Max Greenfield of Fox’s “New Girl” and Bill Hader of “Saturday Night Live.”
The 64th Primetime Emmys are airing live from the Nokia Theatre L.A., with Jimmy Kimmel as host.
