Benito Bautista’s “Boundary” will compete at the Guam International Film Festival, set Sept. 27-30.

Last year, “Boundary” won the Netpac prize at Cinemalaya and special mention at Cinemanila.

The indie drama stars Ronnie Lazaro as a taxi driver who crosses paths with a mysterious passenger played by Raymond Bagatsing.

US firm picks up ‘Graceland’

US firm Drafthouse Films has acquired the North American distribution rights to Ron Morales’ “Graceland.”

The crime thriller—shot in Manila with Filipino actors Arnold Reyes, Leon Miguel, Ella Guevara and Menggie Cobarrubias—premiered at the Tribeca fest.

It will be screened at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, from Sept. 20-27. Indiewire called it “mesmerizing.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
