‘Busong’ at Nat Geo fest in Washington, D.C.

Auraeus Solito’s “Busong” will be screened on Sept. 27 during the National Geographic All Roads Film Festival at the NG headquarters in Washington, D.C. Katie Lombardo, a festival staff, describes the film as “ephemeral… tells a brilliant story and is visually appealing [but] the visual qualities never overpower the human element.”

An entry at last year’s Cinemalaya, the movie premiered at the 2011 Cannes Directors’ Fortnight. Bayani San Diego Jr.
