Lovi Poe leads FAP nominees tonight

LOVI Poe

Lovi Poe leads this year’s nominees for the 30th Luna Awards with two nods—best actress for “My Neighbor’s Wife” and best supporting actress for “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow,” according to the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) which hosts the annual event.

The year’s awards rites will be held tonight at the Quezon City Sports Complex.

For best actress, Poe is competing with KC Concepcion (“Forever and a Day”), Eugene Domingo (“Ang Babae sa Septic Tank”), Maja Salvador (“Thelma”) and Maricel Soriano (“Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”).

There are six movies vying for best film: “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank,” “Manila Kingpin,” “No Other Woman,” “Segunda Mano,” “Thelma” and “Zombadings.” Marinel R. Cruz

What a coincidence! Lovi Poe, KC Concepcion, and Maja Salvador are ALSO in my FAP finalists every night!

    • hustlergalore

in fairness to maja. she did well in thelma. she is the only saving grace in the film.
in fairness to lovi poe. she is a good actress but not for the two films she is nominated here.
and as for kc. i’ll pass.

      • LemuelReyesIII

Passing on KC? Are you crazy? In my book, KC is 100% FAP material!

FAP acronym should be changed to FAOTP.

      • LemuelReyesIII

Well, at least there is somebody who understood my joke.

I personally think they should keep the “FAP” acronym for another 5 years until the whole world starts laughing at them.
