‘Nono’ wins in Japan fest


Rommel “Milo” Tolentino’s indie film “Nono” won the Special Jury Prize in the 9th Skip City International D-Cinema Festival in Japan. Tolentino relayed the good news to the Inquirer. An entry in the Netpac competition in last year’s Cinemalaya, “Nono” tells the story of a boy who dreams of joining and winning in an elocution contest, in spite of his cleft palate. The award came with a cash prize from Sony, Sony Business Solutions and Sony PCL. Bayani San Diego Jr.
