MANILA, Philippines—A new vibe is taking over Tagaytay City that emanates from a bar and restaurant where the walls are thumping and the items on the menu are slamming: Station 15.

Opened on May 18 with celebrities K Brosas and Boy 2 Quizon partying the night away with locals and visitors from Metro Manila, Station 15 is so hot it’s cool. The only venue in the city that offers authentic clubbing experience, the compact habitué certainly impresses with its posh interiors at par with the best any cosmopolitan city could offer with the famed Taal Lake and Volcano just minutes away the place.

The modern interiors of white walls, cushioned ottomans, monitors that can be anything to anyone, and lights that move to the beat will certainly put any partygoer in celebratory mood till the break of dawn.

Masterminded by owners Myra Marquez Nunez and Mark Anthony Rafols, both true blue clubbers for years now, Station 15 has the best DJs every night with a bit of R&B and chill out music thrown into the mix.

A restaurant as much as it is a bar, Station 15 has a menu specially prepared by celebrated MonDay Chefs. Rafols said you won’t find the usual items but instead a twist on these such as the Slider (a collection of mini burgers made with Batangas Beef) and the Baby Back Ribs that comes with a special sauce. Others on the list are pasta, salad, grilled meat, and seafood that will have people remembering what’s on the plate and the glasses as much as who did what during which moment.

The joint is also open at lunch time some days and holds karaoke nights and special events on regular basis. In fact, DJ-ing chores on opening night went to DJ Chris Raeuber of Team Big Fish and just a few days back, Station 15 held a back to the ‘80s and ‘90s event and live screening of the Pacquiao-Bradley fight. Thinking of making that next function ultra unforgettable? You’re in luck, Station 15 accepts booking.

Knowing fully well that no one wants to go into a party hotheaded, Station 15 has ample parking for its guests. Just 45 minutes from Alabang, taking public transport is also an option with buses but a wink away from the door and available nearly 24/7.

Station 15 is located on Maharlika West corner Amadeo Road, Tagaytay City. For inquiries and reservations, contact 09178580700 or 09235188849 or visit www.station15restobar.com.

I do hope that residents and developers of Tagaytay City will keep the Taal Lake from pollution and making it fresh the way it is right now.

Environmental laws should be strict and really enforced among residents and new dwellers of the area.
