Like a long-married couple

THE STAGE play “God of Carnage,” which features (from top left, clockwise) Menchu Lauchengco, Lea Salonga, Adrian Pang and Art Acuña, is a modern-day farce with lots of verbal and physical lashings.

After 12 years, the Filipino singer-actress and the Singaporean thespian are reuniting onstage, in the Atlantis Production of “God of Carnage.” They last played a romantic couple in the musical “They’re Playing Our Song,” which had runs in Manila and Singapore in 2000. They first appeared onstage in the Singapore Repertory Theater production of “Into the Woods” in 1994. Bayani San Diego Jr.
