‘Lola Sela Bungagera’ dies


MANILA, Philippines – Veteran radio voice talent Eloisa Cruz Canlas, popularly known as “Lola Sela Bungarera,” died Sunday dawn, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said.

The report quoted a fellow radio talent, Rose Barin,  as saying  that  Canlas, 70, had just passed away.

The report did not say how she died but Barin said the veteran radio talent had not recovered since she was hit by a taxi in November, 2011. She sustained head injuries from the said accident.

Canlas’ body lies at the Holy Spirit chapel  in  Parañaque City, the report said .
