MANILA, Philippines–A day after the passing of actor-comedian Rodolfo “Dolphy” Quizon, bereaved family and close friends will have Wednesday for themselves to mourn over the death of their loved one, a grandson said early Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters, Roel Quizon said there will be no public viewing Wednesday as to give Dolphy’s family and co-stars in the showbiz industry a chance to give their last respects to the “Comedy King” whose body lies inside the Heritage Park in Taguig City since past midnight Wednesday.

Dolphy, who lies in a “bronze casket clad in full white suite,” is set to be transferred to the Dolphy Theatre inside ABS-CBN office in Quezon City around 1 p.m. and will return to the Heritage Park around 4 a.m. Thursday, Roel said. Roel also said his grandfather’s aura was “maaliwalas” or clear.”Parang mag te-taping lang,” he added. Eric Quizon, who acted as the family’s spokesman, said his father left around 8:34 p.m. Tuesday following a cardiac arrest. He was survived by his common law partner Zsa Zsa Padilla and his 18 children.
