A scuffle breaks out at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport with celebrity couple Claudine Barreto and Raymart Santiago ganging up on Inquirer columnist Mon Tulfo Sunday. YouTube user glamchiq00 captures the melee on video.

MANILA, Philippines–Netizens swiftly took to social networking sites with mixed feelings about the controversial airport brawl involving celebrity couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto, and Inquirer columnist Ramon Tulfo.

Some of them took sides, saying that the Santiago couple showed lack of manners and respect for the veteran journalist while others lambasted Tulfo’s action which led to the brawl. The fistfight allegedly stemmed from Tulfo’s refusal to hand over the mobile phone he used to capture a video of Barretto scolding a ground stewardess.

Other netizens however declined to side with any of the parties, saying that they were “both wrong” for making a scene at the airport.

Hindi mo masisi ang Tulfo brothers at ganun ang reaksyon at mga nasabi nila on air. Kuya nila yun na tumayong ama sa kanilang magkakapatid, for crying out loud.
