Nora, Brillante shooting in Tawi-Tawi

The country’s superstar Nora Aunor has started shooting Cannes-winning director Brillante Mendoza’s latest film, “Thy Womb,” in Mindanao. She was reportedly mobbed by fans, mostly among the military escorts and villagers, in Tawi-Tawi. Among her costars are Bembol Roco, Lovi Poe and Mercedes Cabral in this drama about the seafaring Badjao and other tribes in the South. Bayani San Diego Jr.
