ROSANNA Roces believes her match will find her

There have been reports in the tabloids that TV5’s “Paparazzi” is folding up. There’s no truth to that at all. On the contrary, we just celebrated our second anniversary last week.

We moved to a new time slot, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Saturday. Co-hosting the show with Ruffa Gutierrez, Tita Cristy Fermin, Zoren Legaspi, Mr. Fu and Mariel Rodriguez is its own reward. Our endless thanks to our increasing number of sponsors, supportive celebrity guests, loyal viewers, hardworking production staff, and most of all, to our Kapatid network family for making it all worthwhile.

Here are some quotable quotes from celebrities we interviewed in the show. Time flies when you’re making chika! We never repeat gossip, so listen carefully.

FEATURED STORIES

JUDY ANN SANTOS (on working with Piolo Pascual again): “Sa panahon ngayon lahat ng tao may opinyon. So bago kami magkatrabaho uli ni Piolo dapat siguradong ’di kami mapupulaan. Dapat pag-aralan mabuti ang proyekto.”

ANNE CURTIS (on her foray into singing): “It’s all in the attitude. I may not be a professional singer but I give it my all. Para ma-inspire ang iba na kung kinaya ko, kaya din nila.”

AGA MUHLACH (on the secret of his successful marriage to Charlene Gonzales): “Basta parating nasa isip at puso ko kung gaano ko kamahal ang asawa ko. I won’t allow one stupid mistake to ruin what we’ve built through the years.

Ganoon ako pag na- in love. Buhos talaga. Kaya parang may takot na ako ngayon. Pero alam ko matatagpuan din ako ng katapat ko.”

JINKY PACQUIAO (on her new look):  “Ngayon ang ibang babae na umaaligid kay Manny, ’di na sila threat sa akin.”

JUDY Ann Santos: Yes to working again with Piolo, but...

KATHERINE LUNA (on the father of her love child): “Balang araw baka ikaw naman ang ikahiya at ’di kilalanin ng anak mo.”

BB GANDANGHARI (on his rumored sex change operation): “Huwag n’yo naman ako hubaran by asking me that. What’s between my legs is my own private matter.”

DINA BONNEVIE (on her ex, Vic Sotto, being linked to younger women): “Vic is entitled to be happy just like all of us. Nakikita siguro ni Oyo Boy kung gaano ka-galante Papa niya sa mga babae. Mga luho na ’di ko na-enjoy noong kami pa. Kaya ganoon na lang ang concern niya [Oyo Boy].”

KARYLLE (on her ex Dingdong Dantes): “When I compared him to a talimok [a kind of seafood], I didn’t mean it in a bad way. There was a time kasi I was challenged to eat talimok. It was like conquering my fear so I ate it. In a way, it’s like how I bounced back after my breakup with Dong. I had to gather my strength and do what I thought I could not do.”

BARON GEISLER (on drinking again after rehab): “Even if I just had a few bottles of beer to celebrate with my family, people judge me automatically. I wish they would give me a fair chance. I’m only human. But I’m more in control now.”

SHALANI SOLEDAD (on accepting Roman Romulo’s marriage proposal): “You just know when he’s the one and when the time is right. From day one, we laid our cards on the table. We left no room for doubts, so when I said yes to him, I was 100 percent sure.”

MARY GRACE POE-LLAMANZARES (on her half- sister Lovi Poe): Although ’di kami close, we greet each other in showbiz gatherings . . . We have one thing in common and that’s our love for our late great dad. We both wouldn’t do anything that dad wouldn’t be proud of.”

JOEY MARQUEZ (on the most important lesson he has learned from his colorful love life): “Dapat matuto ako magbasa ng signs. ’Di lang pasok nang pasok. Dapat tumingin ako sa likod, harap, kanan at kaliwa para tama ang direksyon ng relasyon.”
