Lem Lorca’s “Intoy Syokoy” takes the slot of Eduardo Roy Jr.’s “Lola Igna” as a finalist in the New Breed category of the 2012 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival in June, after Roy withdrew his proposed film.

Roy said he needed more time to work on his script.

“Intoy Syokoy” is a comedy about a young tahong diver and his childhood love. JM de Guzman is being eyed to play the lead role.  Marinel R. Cruz
